"Angus Finney is a world leading film and entertainment business specialist, author, and an executive producer. He is the co-founder and Executive Chair of PROOF OF CONCEPT, an e-learning platform serving the Screen Entertainment industries. Angus is widely published, and his third edition of The International Film Business: A Market Guide Beyond Hollywood (Routledge), was launched in May 2022. He has taught and trained all over the world.
Angus is currently commissioned to write an AI Handbook for the European screen industry and a new Routledge title: AI and the Screen Industries (2026). He managed Europe’s Film London Production Finance Market for 10 years (2007-2017). He was the former managing director of Kenneth Branagh’s Renaissance Films (1999-2005).
Angus teaches at Judge Business School, Cambridge University, where he is a Fellow, and Yale University, and USC. He has published four books, including The State of European Cinema (1996) and The Egos Have Landed: The Rise and Fall of Palace Pictures (1996), and has a PhD in management and strategy from City University London."
