Charlotte Tupman
Senior Lecturer in Classics and Digital Humanities - University of Exeter
With a background in Digital Humanities and Ancient History, Charlotte Tupman is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter and is affiliated with the University's Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Digital Humanities Lab. She is a member of the Alan Turing Institute's Humanities and Data Science special interest group and has presented her research on the application of computer vision to the analysis of ancient inscriptions as part of the Turing Stage at CogX. She is a co-author of the international standards for the digital publication of inscriptions and papyri.
