Hugh is a board certified consultant radiologist and academic, and managing director at Hardian Health, a clinical digital consultancy for regulation, clinical validation and investment in health tech.

He has held lead roles at two flagship UK health tech startups, acted as co-chair to the Topol health technology review and serves as board advisor to many AI start-ups. He retains an academic interest as a board member of the scientific journal Nature: Digital Medicine, and holds an honorary research fellowship at the University of Birmingham.
