Anil Seth
Professor of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience - University of Sussex
Anil Seth is a neuroscientist, author, and keynote speaker. He is Professor of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience at the University of Sussex, Co-Director of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research Program on Brain, Mind and Consciousness, and a European Research Council Advanced Investigator. He won the 2023 Royal Society Michael Faraday Prize, and Prospect Magazine listed him as one of the world’s Top 25 thinkers for 2024. His 2017 TED talk has been viewed more than fourteen million times, and his 2021 book Being You: A New Science of Consciousness was an instant Sunday Times Bestseller and a Book of the Year for The Economist, The New Statesman, Bloomberg Business, The Guardian, The Financial Times and elsewhere.
