Dr. Blaise Thomson is the Founder and CEO of Bitfount, currently working to democratise sensitive data, accelerate research, and improve AI model distribution. Dr. Thomson previously served as the Head of the Cambridge office and Chief Architect for Siri Understanding at Apple, where he led pioneering efforts in obfuscating private data on iPhones to ensure secure data sharing. He was previously the founder and CEO of VocalIQ, which was acquired by Apple in 2015. Dr. Thomson is an honorary fellow of the University of Cambridge since 2016.
