Jannah Patchay is the founder of Markets Evolution, an advisory firm specialising in financial innovation. Jannah advises firms on identifying and capitalising on innovation opportunities, and crafting and executing strategies within highly regulated environments. She has supported a diverse range of market participants, including exchanges and trading venues, investment banks, brokers, buy-side firms and Fintechs.

Jannah is passionate about shaping the financial markets of the future by leveraging frontier technologies to create innovative financial services and products that drive social and environmental impact while expanding access to financial services. Her current focus areas include sustainable and green finance, the evolution of digital asset markets, and the development of new forms of digital money, including CBDCs.

A long-standing contributor to the development of domestic and global financial policy and regulation, Jannah has played a key role in shaping organisations that drive the regulatory agenda for digital assets and digital currencies. She is an Originating Member of the Digital Pound Foundation, and has held positions with Global Blockchain Convergence, the Whitechapel Think Tank, and the London Blockchain Foundation.
