Liza Ateh has been leading the Economic Opportunity portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Google.org for over five years and has overseen the expansion of Google.org philanthropy in Central and Eastern Europe. Outside of work, Liza is a mentor to young women in the IT and social impact sectors, champions female empowerment in Eastern Europe and writes and speaks on the topics of future of work, digital skills and belonging. Liza is from Latvia, currently living in London. Liza is a TedX Speaker and was recently selected as an Obama Europe Leader.
