Tram Anh Nguyen is the co-founder of the CFTE, Centre for Finance, Technology, and Entrepreneurship, one of the fastest growing knowledge platforms in Fintech and Digital Finance.
Tram Anh strongly believes that in a world dominated by technology, people must remain at the centre of society and organizations. This was the motivation that drove her to launch CFTE in 2017 to help professionals in Finance learn anything from Fintech to Artificial Intelligence, Open Banking to Entrepreneurship through an online education platform which today has an engaged community of 160,000+ alumni around the world.
She works closely with governments, policymakers, industry experts, startups and academia to drive financial education in the era of Digital Finance. Driven by her passion, Tram Anh is spearheading a skills revolution in finance, aiming not only to transform the industry but also to empower a diverse range of stakeholders to navigate and thrive in the new world of finance through global-scale AI and Fintech education.
Beyond her executive role at CFTE, she serves as a Non-Executive Director and holds multiple advisory board positions, including as an Advisory Board Member of Elevandi for Japan, EDHEC, and the Board of Directors of Passerelles Numeriques. She is also the Co-Chair Singapore’s Financial and FinTech Committee at British Chamber of Commerce Singapore
She is the Entrepreneurship Expert at Saïd Business School, Oxford, with 18 years in traditional finance, a capital market banker in New York with Standard Chartered Bank, a wealth manager with UBS in London, and an advisor to family offices.
An influential voice in the industry, Tram Anh is a sought-after speaker at top industry events and a regular contributor to publications, including the Journal of Digital Banking. Her achievements have earned her numerous industry accolades, notably being recognized as one of the Top 10 Asia Tech Pioneers in the UK's Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Builders.
Of Vietnamese origin, Tram Anh was born in France and lived in Paris, New York, and now London.
