Prince Albert’s 1851 Royal Commission hosted the Hyde Park Great Exhibition, the 1st Industrial Revolution’s works of all nations’. Millions of visitors came to see cutting-edge science and technology generating profit of £186k (£22m with inflation), The Royal Commission of 1851 was founded to support “education, research, science and the arts”, purchased an estate in South Kensington and developed the Natural History Museum, V&A Science Museum, Imperial College, the Royal Albert Hall and many more known as “Albertopolis”.
For 2024 the CogX is hosting the Leadership Summit at the Royal Albert Hall and bringing the 4th Industrial Revolution back to the site that celebrated the 1st Industrial Revolution.

Yes - the App will be made available to download here for all attendees prior to the event. Here you will be able to plan your own agenda, find great networking opportunities and much more. Please keep an eye out for this email. The log in email will be the same one used to register for the event.
Main stage sessions will be recorded and available on our CogX YouTube channel shortly after the Festival.
These are curated networking sessions bringing like-minded attendees together around a specific theme/ topic. They are open to GOLD pass holders only. Spaces are limited so please ‘book in’ to the Salons you are interested in attending on the Event App.

Bag searches will be in operation upon entry to the venue, large bags requiring storing are not permitted onsite. There are no cloakroom services available at the venue. Please see here Royal Albert Hall list of prohibited items.
Doors 3 and 6 will be in operation as main entrances.
Yes, Door 3 has ramp access to the venue and there are lifts available inside
You will be allowed to re-enter the venue but only upon showing a valid badge/lanyard.
Attendees can enter and leave the seating area whilst a session is taking place
Catering is not provided, however there are multiple vending options available onsite. Delegates can purchase refreshments at the bars/restaurants onsite, which will be operating as usual. Water fountains will be available across the venue.
No, unless required for specific dietary needs. Please contact the venue if so.
There is not a specific ‘quiet zone’ but there are lounges available across the venue. Delegates will also be able to access the sessions with their laptop
Face to face meetings can take place in the cafe/restaurants onsite subject to availability.
The dress code is business casual

Trains/Tube
South Kensington and High Street Kensington are the closest underground stations to the Royal Albert Hall. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to walk here from either station. View local area map.
The nearest underground station offering step-free access from street to train is Green Park – you can take the number 9 bus to the Hall from there.
Victoria and Paddington are the nearest National Rail stations, each are an approximate 30 minute walk away but offer tube and bus connections.

Cabs
Black taxis can usually be hailed from Kensington Gore, outside the front of the building (Door 6). Alternatively you could order a minicab to collect you, but please be aware that we are only able to give approximate timings for the end of each event. For arrivals, the most convenient set-down point is at Door 1.
Cycling
There are a number of public bicycle racks located towards the south side of the building. Bicycles are left on these racks at your own risk and the Royal Albert Hall cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage.
There are several Santander Cycles docking stations within walking distance, the closest one is on Kensington Gore outside the Royal College of Art. For further information visit the Santander Cycles website.
